Our Story
Lettuce Bee Hydroponic Farm is located just South of Bangor, PA. We are a 5th generation family run farm. We believe in producing truly clean, fresh and raw vegetables through the futuristic technology of hydroponics.
It's All in the Name...
We started out growing mainly lettuce but have since added other vegetables. Many of our plants require pollination from honey bees, thus the name 'Lettuce Bee'.
What is Hydroponic Farming?
Hydroponics is a method of growing vegetables without soil but instead in flowing nutrient and vitamin rich water. We use organic seeds and don't need to add pesticides or preservatives. What you get is an organic seed grown through hydroponics, producing a totally clean vegetable, clean of ground bacteria, pesticides and preservatives.
